The Welsh Woodland and Tree Symposium is a new event for 2020 sponsored by the Welsh Government and coordinated by KESS 2. The symposium promises to be an engaging cross-sector event showcasing current industry and research concerning Welsh woodlands and trees, as well as an exciting opportunity to strengthen and build new links in this area. This event is coordinated by Knowledge Economy Skills Scholarships (KESS 2 & KESS 2 East), a major pan-Wales operation supported by European Social Funds (ESF) through the Welsh Government. Led by Bangor Univesity, KESS 2 links companies and organisations with academic expertise in the Higher Education sector in Wales to undertake collaborative research projects, working towards PhD or Research Masters qualifications.
