Mae ymchwil Anastasia yn canolbwyntio ar oddefgarwch rhew y sbriws Sitka conwydd (<em>Picea sitchensis<\/em>), sydd wedi cynnwys samplau ffenoteipio a gasglwyd o bob rhan o Brydain.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Goddefgarwch rhew yw&#8217;r graddau y gall planhigyn wrthsefyll difrod pan yn dod i gysylltiad \u00e2 thymheredd is-rewi. Gall difrod rhewi effeithio&#8217;n negyddol ar gynhyrchiant ac ansawdd pren planhigfeydd coed masnachol. Er mwyn bridio am oddefgarwch i rewi, dylid nodi coed sy&#8217;n goddef rhew a&#8217;u gwahanu oddi wrth goed sensitif. I wneud hyn, rhaid asesu goddefgarwch rhew coed unigol, neu amrywiaethau coed, yn ddibynadwy ac yn gadarn, er mwyn sicrhau nad yw ffactorau allanol yn effeithio ar y canlyniadau. Mae&#8217;r map systematig hwn yn archwilio&#8217;r llenyddiaeth academaidd hyd at y flwyddyn 2020 lle cafodd goddefgarwch rhew ei fesur, ac mae&#8217;n archwilio&#8217;r technegau a ddefnyddiwyd yn feirniadol.<\/p>\n<p>Dywed Anastasia, \u201cDyma\u2019r canllaw i dechnegau ffenoteipio goddefgarwch rhew yr hoffwn i wedi\u2019i cael pan ddechreuais fy PhD. Fe wnes i lawer o feddwl i bob rhan o&#8217;r broses ddylunio a defnyddio fy mhrofiad gyda&#8217;r ochr ymarferol i gael mewnwelediad i gyflwr y maes.<\/p>\n<p>Mae&#8217;n ddechrau defnyddiol i unrhyw un sydd newydd ddechrau dylunio arbrawf i fesur goddefgarwch rhew gyda chonwydd. Mae&#8217;n rhoi syniad i chi o&#8217;r hyn sydd ar gael a sut mae&#8217;r rhan fwyaf o arbrofion yn cael eu cynnal. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dywedodd Dr Andy Smith, cyd-oruchwyliwr, \u201cMae map systematig Anastasia yn darparu arfarniad cyfoes a beirniadol o dechnegau ar gyfer mesur goddefgarwch rhew a fydd yn ddefnyddiol i ymchwilwyr newydd a phrofiadol sy\u2019n astudio goddefgarwch rhew mewn coed conwydd. Rwy&#8217;n disgwyl y bydd yr erthygl yn cael ei dyfynnu&#8217;n fawr. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cefnogir prosiect ymchwil PhD Anastasia gan Maelor Forest Nurseries Ltd. a Chronfa Gymdeithasol Ewropeaidd trwy KESS 2 a Llywodraeth Cymru ac mae\u2019n cael ei oruchwylio gan Dr Andy Smith a Dr Katherine Steele ym Mhrifysgol Bangor.
