Electric Weather Sheep

Fifteen minutes of fame for Pip Jones’s ‘Electric Weather Sheep’ on BBC Countryfile.

On Sunday, 12th March 2017, KESS 2 PhD student Pip Jones (Bangor University) and her ‘Electric Weather Sheep’ featured on the BBC agricultural show Countryfile as part of a programme looking back on farming methods in Snowdonia over the past 60 years. The KESS 2 funded project, which is supported by European Social Funds (ESF), works alongside our company partner The Woodland Trust in Wales and uses novel ways to study the effect of various weather conditions on grazing sheep stock.
