On 8th February 2023, the KESS 2 Team at USW held a showcase event that gave researchers the opportunity to present their ESF funded work and share their individual KESS 2 journeys.
The showcase event, held at the USW Conference Centre in Treforest Campus, Pontypridd, highlighted the achievements of KESS 2 participants and gave an overview of the success of the KESS 2 programme.
Speaking at the event were Dr Lucy Fishleigh, Sophie Bradbury, Sarah Gill, Alessia Evans, Shannan Southwood-Samuel and Joe Goldsworthy.
Clare Naylor, KESS 2 Project Manager at USW said,
“KESS 2 has enabled participants to gain their postgraduate research qualifications whilst engaging in innovative, impactful research and establishing valuable links with partner companies and organisations outside the academic environment.”
