On Wednesday, 9th May 2018, KESS 2 participants celebrated Europe Day by taking to social media to share the benefits EU funding is providing for their doctoral-level study in Wales. Led by Bangor University, KESS 2 facilitates collaborative research projects between universities and businesses across Wales and is supported by European Social Funds (ESF) through the Welsh Government.
Throughout Europe Day, participants posted photos on Twitter using the hashtags #EuropeDay and #EUFundsCymru, sharing with us a snapshot of their research and what EU funds are allowing them to achieve as part of KESS 2. The social media campaign was a successful event generating lots of positive engagement activity.
