KESS 2 would like to extend congratulations to our PhD candidate Non Williams on recently being elected to sit on the Welsh Government’s ‘Young People in Agriculture’ forum in Builth Wells. Non, who is currently researching ‘Optimised management of upland pasture for economic and environmental benefits’ within the ESF funded KESS 2 structure, will be participating monthly at the forum on behalf of Bangor University.
The Young People in Agriculture Forum aims to strengthen the relationship between Welsh Government and young people in agriculture, in order to develop future leaders, recognise opportunities and address the challenges facing the industry.
Non says, “I consider it a privilege to represent Bangor University on the Forum, expressing the views of young people on the development of agricultural policy.”
