Lucia Watts participates in British Ecological Society Annual Meeting

KESS 2 PhD student Lucia Watts, from Bangor University, was invited to participate in the British Ecological Society Annual Meeting on 14th – 18th December which was hosted online. Lucia’s project, which partners with the National Trust, is titled “Climate vulnerability and adaptation at multiple scales” and her research is investigating the potential likely impacts of climate change to National Trust Wales properties focusing with three case study sites. Her speed talk, recorded for the conference, is amongst 700 on-demand posters and talks submitted and can be viewed in the video below.

Lucia’s poster was also featured by the Functional Ecology Twitter account and shows some results which explore if and where there is likely to be suitable climate space for birds in the Welsh uplands under current climate change circumstances.
